CONCERNING
PROCEDURES FOR GRANTING EXEMPTION FROM IMPORT DUTY AND EXCISE ON GOODS OWNED BY FOREIGN EMBASSIES AND OFFICERS OF FOREIGN EMBASSIES
THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,
Considering:
- a. that for smooth implementation of foreign embassies tasks, by attention to reciprocal principle, it is necessary to give exemption from import duty and excise on two wheels motorized vehicle by foreign representative officers;
- b. that based on consideration as described in paragraph a above, it is necessary to stipulate Regulation of the Minister of Finance concerning Amendment to the Decision of the Minister of Finance No. 90/KMK.04/2002 concerning Procedures for Granting Exemption from Import Duty and Excise on Goods Owned by Foreign Embassies and Officers of Foreign Embassies;
In View of:
- 1. Presidential Decree No. 20/P/2005;
- 2. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 90/KMK.04/2002 concerning Procedures for Granting Exemption from Import Duty and Excise on Goods Owned by Foreign Embassies and Officers of Foreign Embassies.
HAS DECIDED:

REGULATION OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE CONCERNING AMENDMENT TO THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE No. 90/KMK.04/2002 CONCERNING PROCEDURES FOR GRANTING EXEMPTION FROM IMPORT DUTY AND EXCISE ON GOODS OWNED BY FOREIGN EMBASSIES AND OFFICERS OF FOREIGN EMBASSIES
Article I
Provision in Article 6 of Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 90/KMK.04/2002 concerning Procedures for Granting Exemption from Import Duty and Excise on Goods Owned by Foreign Embassies and Officers of Foreign Embassies is amended by add 1 (one) paragraph, that is paragraph (3) as follow:
"Article 6
(3) Exemption of import duty shall be granted for import of motorized vehicle with kind not Article 1 paragraph 5, of two wheels motorized vehicle by officers of foreign embassies as intended in paragraph (1), with following conditions:
- a. two wheels motorized vehicle was imported in CBU condition;
- b. granting exemption of import duty of importing motorized vehicle as described in a is as replacement of facility of motorized vehicle as intended in paragraph (1);
- c. importing motorized vehicle as described in sub-paragraph a should use entry port Tanjung Priok.
- d. for two wheel motorized vehicle which get exemption of import duty should be re-export if the officer ends his task in Indonesia."
Article II
This Regulation of the Minister of Finance comes into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, it is ordered that this Minister of Finance regulation shall be published in State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
